Voluntary education (VolEd) opportunities are available to you regardless of where you serve.
As a military member serving outside of the continental U.S. (OCONUS), you have access to a variety of options to help you begin or continue your education. Depending on your location, you may have access to these education services:

Central Command/Africa Command Downrange Contingency Areas:

In CENTCOM/AFRICOM, University of Maryland Global Campus provides onsite classes and education support for service members.

European Command

In EUCOM, there are two colleges/universities offering curriculum for service members:

TOP 20 CLEP Test Centers (CY2023)
 When stationed or deployed overseas (OCONUS), there are plenty of education options for military members to explore. One option is taking advantage of the DANTES Credit-by-Exam program; this program can help you get college credit for information you already know or military training and experiences you have already had. College Board administers the CLEP exams and is pleased to announce the TOP 20 Test Centers (worldwide) with the highest test volume in CY 2023. Six of the locations are OCONUS!
