Voluntary education (VolEd) opportunities are available to you regardless of where you serve. As a military member serving outside of the continental U.S. (OCONUS), you have access to a variety of options to begin or continue your education. Depending on your location, you may have access to these education services:

Central Command/Africa Command Downrange Contingency Areas:

In CENTCOM/AFRICOM, University of Maryland Global Campus provides onsite classes and education support for service members.

European Command

In EUCOM, there are two colleges/universities offering curriculum for service members:
